 Santa Cruz County No on Prop 8

On November 4, the people of Santa Cruz County had an opportunity to lead California in standing up for equality and justice - and protecting ALL marriages - by voting No on Proposition 8. Despite a spirited local campaign which led to more than 71% of Santa Cruz County voters saying No to Prop 8, the majority of voters statewide voted to write discrimination into the California Constitution. Thus, the fight for marriage equality will continue.
